A 12-year old has announced himself to the darts world as the ‘next Luke Littler’ after winning the Red Dragon MODUS Super Series Influencer Pairs event alongside AngryGinge. His 145 checkout was something else…

Jayden Walker.

Make sure you remember that name because if the weekend was anything to go by, he’ll be a household name in darts one day!

The 12-year old took part in an influencer event yesterday held by Red Dragon Darts and MODUS Super Series

The annual event brings together notable YouTube or social media influencers alongside some established darts names for a promotional tournament.

This year had participants that included Angry Ginge, Danny Aarons, Pie face and Jaack Maate alongside Glen Durrant, Mason Whitlock (son of Simon Whitlock) and Fallon Sherrock

It would prove to be 12-year old Jayden Walker that would bring more eyes to this event than any other though.

The day prior he beat Luke Humphries 2-1 in an exhibition game with an average of 102 and would show the following day that it was no fluke…

Darts Prodigy Hits 145 Checkout alongside a 180 in Deciding Leg

Teamed up with YouTuber Angry Ginge who’s known for his football content (and being a Manchester United fan), Jayden Walker would help lead the duo to victory yesterday.

They beat Fallon Sherrock & Jaack Maate, George Scaife & Adam Lipscombe and finally Charlie Murphy & Glen Durrant to lift the trophy.

Walker would stun darts fans watching on social media as he hit a 145 checkout in the first match leaving Jaack Maate and Fallon Sherrock lost for words.

Standing a few feet shorter than everyone else, Walker was like a tornado at the oche and a 180 in the deciding leg against Glen Durrant showed that the kid is one to watch in the future!

This was arguably one of the most composed performances we’ve ever seen from a darts player this young and as a result, he’s obviously drawn comparisons with darts prodigy of the year Luke Littler

There’s definitely been a “Luke Littler Effect” in darts and Gary Anderson has said he’s seeing ‘unbelievable’ talents in darts as he does his exhibitions as more and more young players are getting into the sport.

If Jayden Walker’s performance is anything to go by at just 12-years old, the future of darts is going to a standard we are just not used to seeing…
