Fallon Sherrock wants Beau Greaves to turn down the WFD Women’s World Championship this year in order to play in the 2026 PDC World Championship.
Beau Greaves is one of the brightest prospects in darts. At just 21-years-old, the Doncaster thrower is already one of the most successful women’s darts players of all time.
In the WDF, Greaves is a three time World Champion (in three consecutive years) and two time Masters winner.
In the PDC she has won back-to-back Women’s World Matchplay titles, is top of the Women’s Order of Merit, top of the Development Tour OoM and is top 5 in the Challenge Tour OoM.
Some of her performances are an elite standard, not just in the women’s game.
This was demonstrated earlier this year when she made it to the fourth round of the 2025 UK Open, pushing world number one Luke Humphries in a 10-7 loss.
Her profile in the game is further evidenced with the recent signing to Target Darts, a leading darts manufacturer and key sponsor in the game.

Darts players and fans want to see Greaves compete in the open division against the men more often, but she has been vocal in the past that she ‘doesn’t like playing against the men’ and prefers to compete in the Women’s division.

This has meant that despite earning a place to play in the PDC World Championship by topping the Women’s Series previously, she has turned it down to compete in the WDF Women’s World Championship instead.
Fallon Sherrock has now called on her to reverse this decision this year in order to ‘challenge’ her game.

Fallon Sherrock Wants Beau Greaves to ‘Challenge’ Her Game
Fallon Sherrock is a player that broke new ground for the Women’s game in darts when she made it to the third round of the 2020 World Championship.
A run that earned her the nickname “Queen of the Palace”.
While Sherrock and Greaves have developed a friendly rivalry over the last year, she wants to see Greaves finally accept the invitation to play at the PDC World Championship.
In an interview with Online Darts, she said:
“I hope so [turning down Lakeside for Ally Pally] because of her run at the UK Open, with how she’s playing at the Challenge Tour and Development Tour.
“Your game is in a really good place, why not just challenge it and put it to the World’s because if you go on a run at the World’s or you win at the World’s then your life changes completely.”
Despite this opinion, Sherrock says she won’t discuss this decision with her personally stating:
“That’s a conversation that I probably won’t have with Beau because I feel that’s only her decision that she can make.
“I feel like if you try to talk to someone about changing their mind they might just go ‘do you know what, if so many people are on at me then I’m not going to do it’.
“It’s only how she feels and she’ll know within herself if she’s ready or not.”
Greaves has already displayed a different mindset going into 2025 as she revealed in February that she is “trying to work her way up the PDC system”.
She’s yet to comment on whether she will look to compete in the PDC World Championship though, something that Sherrock’s state could now influence…
