The 2026 Swiss Darts Trophy (ET14) is the next tournament on the PDC schedule with the second-to-last Euro Tour event taking place in Basel between Friday October 9th and Sunday October 11th.

2026 will be the third installment for the Swiss Darts Trophy with the inaugural event in 2024 being won by Martin Schindler and the 2025 Swiss Darts Trophy being won by Stephen Bunting.

Luke Littler has withdrawn from the competition meaning Luke Humphries will enter as number one seed.

Not only will Stephen Bunting be looking to retain his title in Basel but he also needs a good performance to qualify for the 2026 European Championship.

There are several players currently around the cut-off point for qualification and Bunting is currently in the final qualifying place (32nd) with just £500 in ranking money ahead of Joe Cullen.

Martin Schindler, Cristo Reyes, Dave Chisnall, Stephen Bunting, Joe Cullen, Sebastian Bialecki, Michael Smith and Karel Sedlacek are all players in and around the cut-off point.

They will be looking to have a deep tournament run in order to gain qualification to the Major tournament later this month, especially with just two Euro Tour events left!
